First trip to the amazing Argentinian Patagonia

PatagoniaWe decided to go to Patagonia almost in the last moment. I had to be in Buenos Aires for a week in February and thought that it would be nice to see the other part of the country. Also the words Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego have the same ring as the word “adventure”. Who didn’t dream about Patagonian lands after reading ” Les Enfants du capitaine Grant”?

Since we only had a little more than a week it was decided to cover just the southern part of Argentinian Patagonia: Tierra del Fuego, El Calafate glaciers and El Chalten mountain region. Although we love to travel by car this time we had to use the planes between destinations and took a car only to drive to the mountains of El Chalten: Patagonia is big.
